Who is Bed Janssen?

Janssen, often written جانسن in Arabic, is a mattress manufacturer based in Egypt. Its main factory sits in Plot 8, Block 13013 of the First Industrial Zone in Obour City, and the company says it produces the raw materials for its mattresses locally, including foam, felt and springs. That vertical approach is the brand's main selling point: a 100% Egyptian-made mattress backed by a long warranty and a network of showrooms in Greater Cairo.

The Janssen catalogue is built around sleep. There are three mattress families: connected-spring mattresses, pocket-spring mattresses with separate coils that move independently, and no-spring mattresses based on foam and memory foam. Around them you will find pillows, mattress toppers, waterproof protectors and blankets, plus beds, indoor furniture, decorative cushions and home furnishings. For summer and for villas and chalets, Janssen also sells an outdoor furniture line with hammock chairs, swing chairs, patio sets and armchairs.

Real prices from the Janssen website in October 2026 include the Pocket Cotton 27 mattress at 6,498 EGP, the Pocket Cotton 30 at 7,134.50 EGP, the Plumas mattress at 5,063.50 EGP, the Scandi mattress at 6,260.50 EGP, the Medi Pedic memory foam mattress at 8,379 EGP, the Royalty memory foam mattress at 10,165 EGP and the Joury mattress at 10,478.50 EGP. A waterproof mattress protector costs 430 EGP. On the outdoor side, a metal frame armchair is 4,500 EGP, the Coastal Breeze chair is 7,508 EGP, a hammock chair is 9,355 EGP, the Cozy hanging swing chair is 14,080 EGP, the Ravi set is 26,950 EGP and the Wooden Frame patio set is 39,990 EGP.

Janssen also makes custom mattress sizes through its sales team, which is useful for non-standard beds, and offers a maintenance service for after-sales support.

How do I get the Janssen free shipping offer?

2. Select the size that matches your bed and add it to the cart. Add a pillow or protector if needed.

Which Janssen mattress should I buy?

Pocket-spring mattresses

Pocket springs move independently, so one sleeper's movement is felt less by the other. The Pocket Cotton 27 at 6,498 EGP and the Pocket Cotton 30 at 7,134.50 EGP are good starting points for couples.

Memory foam and medical mattresses

The Medi Pedic at 8,379 EGP and the Royalty at 10,165 EGP use memory foam, which shapes itself to the body. Both sit in the medical mattress range covered by the 10-year warranty.

Value mattresses

The Plumas at 5,063.50 EGP and the Scandi at 6,260.50 EGP are the most affordable options in the current listing and still pass the 2,000 EGP free-shipping threshold.

Accessories

A waterproof protector at 430 EGP extends the life of any mattress, and pillows and toppers can be added to reach free shipping on smaller orders.

Outdoor furniture

For gardens, roofs and North Coast chalets, Janssen's outdoor line runs from a 4,500 EGP armchair to complete patio sets near 45,000 EGP, with sale prices of up to 30% off.

How can I save more on Janssen?

• Use the free-shipping threshold. Combine a mattress with a pillow or protector to make sure your order is above 2,000 EGP.
• Look for the 5% tag. Several mattresses show a 5% saving directly on the price.
• Pay in installments. valU, Sympl, Forsa, halan and bank installments make a 10,000 EGP mattress easier on the monthly budget.
• Buy outdoor furniture on sale. The current sale on outdoor pieces is the time to furnish a garden or balcony.
• Watch White Friday. November and Ramadan are usually the strongest months for home and mattress deals in Egypt.
• Try in a showroom. Lie on the mattress in Nasr City, City Stars, New Cairo, 6th of October, Mohandessin, Axis Mall or Hyper Zayed before ordering online.

Mattress size, comfort and care guide

Measure the inside of your bed frame, not the outside, before choosing a size, and ask Janssen sales about a custom size if your bed is non-standard. Firmer surfaces generally suit back and stomach sleepers, while softer, contouring memory foam suits side sleepers. Leave a new mattress to air out for a few hours, use a protector from day one, and rotate the mattress regularly so it wears evenly. Avoid bending spring mattresses during moving, keep them dry, and clean small stains with a slightly damp cloth instead of soaking the fabric. Keep your invoice and activated warranty safe in case you need the maintenance team.
