This is not a myth circulating online — it is a promotion published on amazon.sa itself. The live wording at the time of writing: get 3 months of Prime for just SAR 8 a month, after which Prime renews at SAR 16 a month, cancel anytime. So the eight riyals is a temporary rate for the first three months only. Promotions change, so check the official page before subscribing.
