Amazon Prime with Vodafone Egypt: 30 Days Free
Vodafone Egypt offers 30 days of Amazon Prime free, activated from the Ana Vodafone app according to the operator's official offer page. When the free period ends the membership converts to the standard Amazon Egypt price — EGP 29 per month or EGP 249 per year, VAT included — so cancel before the renewal date if you do not want to continue. (Verified 24 September 2026.)
What the Vodafone Amazon Prime offer includes
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Free period | 30 days of Amazon Prime |
| How to activate | Through the Ana Vodafone app |
| Cost after the offer | EGP 29 monthly or EGP 249 yearly, per Amazon Egypt pricing |
| Benefits covered | Fast free delivery, exclusive deals, Prime Video, Amazon Luna |
Operator promotions change often. Check the official offer page and its terms before subscribing, because the duration and eligibility may differ from what is described here.
How to activate Amazon Prime through Vodafone
- Open the Ana Vodafone app on the line registered in your name and make sure it is updated.
- Go to the offers or entertainment section and look for the Amazon Prime offer.
- Tap to subscribe and confirm.
- Open the activation link sent to you by SMS.
- Sign in with the Amazon account you want the membership attached to.
- Confirm the membership is active on the Prime page of your Amazon Egypt account.
Attach the offer to the Amazon account you actually shop with — moving a membership to a different account later is normally not possible.
Is Amazon Prime free with Vodafone?
It is free for the promotional period only. After that the subscription renews at the standard price. This is the single most common misunderstanding: the offer is a trial funded by the operator, not a permanent free membership.
How to cancel
| How you subscribed | Where to cancel |
|---|---|
| Through the Vodafone offer | The Ana Vodafone app, in the same section you activated it from, or Vodafone customer service |
| Directly with Amazon | Your Prime membership page — choose "End membership on renewal" |
| Through Google Play | Subscription settings inside Google Play |
Cancel before the renewal date, because the charge lands at the end of the period. Amazon states that if you have not used your Prime benefits and have not placed an eligible order, you are entitled to a full refund.
If the offer does not appear for you
- Update the app to the latest version.
- Confirm the line is registered in your name and that your plan is eligible.
- Promotional offers are usually granted once per account.
- Try over the Vodafone data network rather than Wi-Fi.
- Contact Vodafone customer service to check eligibility.
Alternatives if you are not eligible
- Amazon's own free trial, if it appears for your account.
- Offers from other operators in Egypt, and from stc and Mobily in Saudi Arabia or e& and du in the UAE if you buy from those marketplaces.
- Bank card promotions.
- The student offer, where it exists in your market.
Is the offer worth taking?
Yes, for two reasons: it lets you test actual delivery speed to your address before paying anything, and it gives you a month of Prime Video and Amazon Luna with no commitment. After the trial, the maths is simple — add up the delivery fees you avoided in those 30 days. If they exceed EGP 29, staying subscribed pays for itself.
Whichever route you choose, check the current offers on the Amazon Prime Egypt promo code page first. The direct plan costs are in Amazon Prime Egypt pricing, and if the subscription came through an operator, cancelling works differently — see cancelling Amazon Prime in Egypt.
