It notably allows a discount code to be combined with wallet payment, and its wallet credit does not expire.

Namshi's edge that most stores don't offer: codes stack with wallet credit

Most stores make you choose between a discount code and your credit. Namshi is different: you can use a discount code and pay from your Namshi wallet on the same order. The method, as its help centre explains it: put the voucher code in the coupon field and select Wallet as the payment method.

This is the most valuable fact on the page, because it means the credit built up from your returns is not wasted against the code — it compounds with it.

The Namshi wallet and its credit

Namshi credit sits in the Namshi Wallet inside your account (Account, then Wallet), showing your balance and transaction history.

Its main source is returns: on a return the amount goes to your wallet, or back to your card if you paid by card. Two features stand out:

• The credit has no expiry date, unlike most regional wallets which lapse within months.
• The balance can be transferred to your bank account by contacting customer support — so it is not trapped credit.

Countries and categories

Namshi serves six countries: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

Its departments cover clothing, shoes, bags and accessories for women, men, children and babies, plus beauty and grooming and sports, with Premium, Sale and Outlet sections.

Shipping — and the "Global" service with different rules

Delivery is free above a minimum order value in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with a service charge below it. In Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman a flat shipping fee applies below the minimum. Same-day and next-day options exist above higher order thresholds.

There is also a separate Global shipping service for items tagged "Global", with its own rules worth noting:

• Available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia only.
• Free above a stated threshold, flat fee below it.
• No exchanges are available on Global items.
• Cash on delivery is not available on Global orders.

So if you rely on cash on delivery or expect to exchange for a different size, avoid items tagged Global.

Returns and exchanges

Namshi advertises free returns and exchanges, covers the return shipping fee and issues credit for the item's value, with exchanges free of charge.

But note: cash-on-delivery charges and shipping fees are not refunded, as they go to the courier.

One practical condition matters: items must be tried on with the plastic security loop intact. Items with a removed or damaged loop may be refused for return. So do not cut the loop until you are sure of the size.

To be straight about a gap: we could not confirm the return window in days from a readable official page, so we publish no number. Check the return policy page in your account before buying.

Payment methods

Cash on delivery is available in all six countries with a fee that varies by market. It has exclusions: it is not available for doorstep-drop deliveries or locker collection, and may be withdrawn from customers with many pending deliveries or a history of refusing them.

There is no extra fee for paying by card or from the wallet. Cards accepted include mada, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay, alongside the Namshi wallet.

For instalments: Tamara splits the bill into three interest-free payments — one at order and two over the following two months — for customers aged 18 and over, with the limit depending on your shopping history.

2. Don't cut the security loop until you're sure of the size — cutting it can cost you the right to return.
3. Watch for the Global tag if you want cash on delivery or an exchange, as neither is available on those items.
4. Pay by card or wallet rather than cash on delivery where you can, since COD fees are not refunded on a return.
5. Wallet credit doesn't expire, so there's no need to spend it in a hurry — and it can be moved to your bank account through customer support.
